Emotional rescue...

The first week of my vacations I was thinking about my birthday and the gifts I wanted for that day. On Wednesday I spent all my savings for buy myself a pair of boots, and at the end of the day I buy also a lovely shirt. That was the shopping day. On Thursday and Friday I woke up a little sick, but on Saturday I was really excited because of my birthday (June 25th), the most part of the day started at 8 pm, I put my clothes and the pair of boots, and I went with my friends to a Coffee, we talked about two hours and listened to live music. I honestly had an amazing week.

There isn´t anything better on a lazy Monday than woke up for ate a couple of Pancakes, that was exactly the breakfast I ate. Then, I stayed in my home all day and read some books; I started to read The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, and finalized to read a chemistry book. The next day, I decided to build an origami owl, just for waste some time. At the end, it looked like an expensive piece of art. On Wednesday my godmother invited me to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On stranger tides, then we went to eat pizza. On Thursday I went to visit to Alape´s aunt house, and met his cousin and his grandpa. We ate ice cream in the middle of the rain. So, here comes Friday, in the morning I went to Salitre for gave my math notebook to Peachy, and she gave me a vanilla ice cream. At the afternoon I packed my bags for travel to Duitama, Boyacá. I arrive on Saturday to that cold and gentile city. I had never bad times in Duitama, it is like my second home that preserves endless secrets of my childhood. On Sunday my family and I went to the Pantano de Vargas, there is a log story behind this biggest monument; it is good to remind it.

The final week of my emotional vacations started on July 4th I was packing bags again for travel to Oiba, Santander, for visit some friends of my parents, but I get so sick and I visit the hospital of that small and friendly city, after a treatment for my bronchi, and until I could breathe well, the doctor let me go away. The next day I travel to San Gil, Santander, and walked across all the streets looking for a desserts store, on Wednesday we travel to Barichara, a beautiful town between a thousand of trees, something atypical of this hidden place, is that its architecture is made of stone and that creates a rustic and colonial aspect, which I adore. The next two days we stayed in Bucaramanga, Santander, it looks like Bogotá because of his similar buildings and malls, it is a big city that freeze you for a moment, there is too many places to admire. On Saturday’s morning we went to PANACHI, I mean Parque Nacional del Chicamocha, we had an incredible experience, that I will ever never forget. All the landscapes bring you peace and you can take a breath for a moment of the routine and the noises of the city.
